The renowned sportscaster, Jim Mueller, the former player of WKYC Cleveland Browns passed away. He worked as the sports director, from 1983-87 of the period for 3News. His demise was confirmed by Jim Donovan, just before the pre-season game with the Browns on Sunday morning. He became one of the most beloved Cleveland sports, the media’s renowned figure and worked on both WKYC and in Browns Radio Network as well. His successor, Jim Donovan, would now be working as sports director for 3News and he was the one who confirmed his demise by saying that the first boss of Channel 3 has passed away. This news surfaced just before the warm-up match. Sunday morning when the Browns were getting ready for the pre-season match against Philadelphia Eagle, the news broke among everyone.
