Recent news is coming of the death of Samer Abu Daqqa who was a journalist and lost his life while covering the entire airstrike news. Who Was Samer Abu Daqqa?
Samer Abu Daqqa was a dedicated journalist from Al Jazeera who lost his life in the recent Israeli airstrike. The Israel and Gaza Strip wars and conflicts have had a huge and disastrous turn in recent times. A lot of people from the military or public services have lost their lives in this huge worldwide conflict.
Samer Abu Daqqa was a journalist from Al Jazeera who went to cover the recent Israel airstrike on a school in Khan Younis, southern Gaza. The school was attacked and later left with an airstrike that took many lives.
Samer Abu Daqqa put his life in huge trouble and tried to cover the entire strike being a responsible and active journalist. But tragically, he got stuck in the school for a very long time which took his life immediately.
Samer Abu Daqqa Death News
Samer Abu Daqqa passed away in December 2023 while covering the airstrike on Khan Younis in Southern Gaza. He was a dedicated reporter and was covering the attacks and strikes happening there. He had also covered the previous attacks made in Farhana school in collaboration with another journalist bureau chief Wael Dahdouh.
They both reached the school to cover the incident on that day as well but unfortunately, Samer Abu Daqqa got stuck in the school for a longer time whereas Wael Dahdouh got struck by shrapnel on his upper arm. He somehow managed to escape to Nasser Hospital, where he received treatment for minor injuries.
Wael Dahdouh has shown a huge grief on the news of his death and he also mentioned the closeness of their personal and professional bondings. It was a huge loss for him and the entire nation who are losing such hard workers of the society.
