People called the police and they reported that there saw a gunman and accordingly one-two gunmen were reported at that time. Lisa Goodman spokesperson for the St. Charles health system reported that they received two people who were in good condition(the victims) and one of them was already dead when the victims were transferred. The shooting was reported just after 7 pm on Sunday evening and the accused was having a rifle with which he open fire. Dispatchers of Deschutes received a call on 911 and they were reported about the active shooting at Highway 20 and northeast 27th street. Police also revealed that some of the shoppers reported a gunman with black clothes all over while some reported a male holding duffel bags.

Many of the shoppers were ready to defend themselves but they did not fire hopefully. There were dozens of officers to the rescue and the police restricted the area and sealed it until investigation.
