The identified bodies were Liren Chen and Xuanyi Yu and the fearful incident occurred around 1:20 PM after the investigation the reports said that Liren Chen died by suicide after killing Xuanyi Yu by shooting inside their home in Los Altos.

The husband and victim  Xuanyi Yu completed his education at Tsinghua University and the University of California San Diego. She was a worker at Google in the San Francisco Bay Area. Lirenb also attended Tsinghua University and the University of California San Diego. He worked at Google as a Software Engineer at the Mountain View office. He was an ex-worker of TuSimple in the Greater San Diego Area.
