He was the son of Shri Mast Ramji and Surjit Kaur. His father was a farmer and his mother was a housewife. He had two younger and older brothers and a younger sister. He was married but his wife and children ‘s background and personal life is still unknown. He died in 2007 at the age of 55 years due to cancer.
