Earlier as well many police officers reported that they received many phone calls from different places saying that there is a shooting ongoing at the school but none of them was true. Some of the shootings earlier that occurred were true but many calls were just a hoax. The same is the case with Georgia now here police received several phone calls about a shooting occurring at different schools in the area, but all of them were hoaxes. False News Of Shooting Reported At Brunswick High School

Police later released a statement that they received various calls stating that police received various calls from various schools in Georgia and they were informed about an ongoing shooting and an active shooter as well. Police rushed to the schools where the shooting was reported to have occurred, but they did not find any clue of any shooting or shooter as well. Police have stated that not only one but many calls were reported from different counties of southeast Georgia and they were all about shooting. Various emergency management vans, police n dals many other officers were seen ta the place, where police said that they were investigating Glynn county.

No Shooter Found At Brunswick High School

From Glynn County, there was no shooter reported. None is injured there and also there was no active shooter as well. Officers stayed there in case anything happens during the runtime of the school. At Brunswick High school, there was heavy patrolling as police investigated there and were informed about the shooting there as well. Other than that some other places were also rumoured to have shootings which include, including Baldwin, Burke, Chatham, Early, Glynn, Lowndes, Muscogee, Toombs, Ware, and Wayne were all targeted in this fake shooting rumour. Savannah school director revealed that there was a heavy police force patrolling in response to the shooting rumoured call.

Hoax confirmed at Savannah High School

Camden County School as well posted online through social media and they said that the school is aware of the hoax of a fake shooting call, and they also added that nothing like a shooting or any shooter is found near the school. The school clearly stated that there is no active shooting. The management also thanked the Camden county officers to report on time and also for standing at the school for safety. The management also thanked the Kingsland Police department and St. Mary’s police department as well for their quick response to the call. Savannah high school as well informed that they are aware of the shooting rumour on Wednesday but the police were investigating and so far no one has been reported injured.

Georgia Emergency management along with the Homeland security agency added that the calls are also hoaxes and might be related to the national trend of shooting ongoing at schools. They also added that currently FBI is taking care of the fake phone calls and they will find the person responsible for causing such fake calls. It was also reported by the management that there were bomb threats received by 400 schools around Georgia counties or an active shooter as well but nothing until now has been found as police are currently investigating the targeted areas and so far no shooter or injured one has been found.
