He was continuously pressurising her to meet him and even irritated her to become his friend. She said that on the 22nd of August he had called her again and threatened her that if she doesn’t accept his proposal of friendship and doesn’t talk to him, he will kill her and won’t leave a single trace behind. Her younger sibling is in 6th class and her father used to live in a two-room house in Dumka, Jharkhand. The accused had intentionally poured the petrol over the victim and burnt her alive. Although the victim was rushed to hospital and was not recovering at the expected speed. According to the statements she gave to police, the man identified as Shahrukh is taken under police custody, and reportedly at the time of his arrest, he was grinning his teeth towards the camera and smiling like he did some gracious job.
