Colorado Police added that after the viral video came under the police notice they got through the details of the man who passed on racist and homophobic comments to the two students. It was mentioned that the guy who passed on hateful comments came close to the two students who were minding their own business and he passed on comments which made the two students uncomfortable. While the police later mentioned that through social media they reached out to the house of the man and the video was shot by him. This man was identified as Jordan Douglas aged 40 years old from Colorado.

As per the reports Jordan passed on hateful comments to the two students who were at the In-N-Out and they were having their time during Christmas eve in the bay area. Jordan went to the students who were identified as Arine Kim and Elliot Ha and he started filming their interview. In the video, Jordan was heard saying hateful, racist, and homophobic comments about the two guys and he also stare at them very uncomfortably. In the video Jordan made hateful comments about the two students, he asked them about their ethnicity, their sexualities, and also their racial identities as well. Not only did he ask them uncomfortable questions but he also threatened them that he would spit on their faces and say see you outside.

Upon asking questions by an interviewer Kim added that he and Ha were outside eating and Jordan appeared out of nowhere. Kim mentioned that after Jordan asked them uncomfortable questions, he started to get uncomfortable and started to walk away. Kim mentioned that Jordan was staring at them uncomfortably while the two of them asked the staff to get them out of there. Kim added that the staff was helpful and they guided them until the exit. Kim also mentioned that they were fearing him and even after they got out of the restaurant, Jordan stared at them for 10-15 minutes continuously.

San Ramon police department added that the police department noticed the video because it was viral. They added that the video helped them in catching the suspect and through social media, they got in touch with one of the victims. The branch’s officers mentioned that they are investigating the case under criminal investigation and that through social media Kim came in contact with the police. Officers also mentioned that the suspect, Jordan is currently booked at the County jail in Martinez. The video until Monday got over ten million views and that is the reason why this video came to the notice of the police.
