A week before her demise Hulu team released a notification that they are going to release a featured web series revolving around the crime series book Under the bridge written by Rebecca revolving around the story of a true crime story and this step was appreciated by many. A week later on the 3rd of October 2022, Rebecca passed away at the New York City Hospital at the age of 54, she was suffering from Lung Cancer at that time.
