Now the Office of St. Bernard Parish Sheriff is investigating the matter and looking into the lethal shooting of an 18-year-old that occurred outside the home of Violet on the afternoon of Wednesday, 23rd November 2022. At around 02:45 PM, the police officer responded to the report of a lethal shooting in the 2800 block of Moss Lane of Violet, stated by Sheriff Pohlmann.

The police officer came and found a man lying in the back of the avenue and when police checked his body many wounds from gunshots has been found. The victim was immediately declared dead but police have not shared the information about the deceased. However, they identified the suspect whose name is Cody Adams and now the police are looking for him. The case has been lodged and now the police want information about the suspect. As per detectives, a 2023 Toyota Camry was found driving away from the crime scenes and they got to know that the car was driven by 21-year-old, Cody Adams but he is not alone there were 2 other people with him. Now the main suspect is being sought after by investigating tea and police already issued an arrest warrant for him. He will be facing the charges of 1st and 2nd-degree murder case. He was last spotted while leaving the crime area in his blue colour car.
