The show was held in the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles which focused on covering all the hits of late Tina Turner. Patti LaBelle twice forgot the lyrics and finally managed and even spelled ‘oh god’ in between struggling with her show.
This happened as a result of issues with the teleprompter. Patti LaBelle was blocked from seeing the prompter resulting in her forgetting the lyrics still the 79 years pop star who took the stage managed not to ruin her show and hummed with the tune.

Completing her kidney transplant in 2017, she survived a few years and died on 2023 May in her home.
