The police are currently investigating the matter and the school has been identified as Holly Shelter Middle School. What Happened At Holly Shelter Middle School Today?
As per the reports, The office of the New Hanover County Sheriff states that they are finishing their 3rd search of Holly Shelter Middle School but have discovered no proof of the shooting and luckily no one has been wounded or dead. There are many people who want to know from where it all started. According to the reports, the Holly Shelter Middle School was put on lockdown after a phone menace about an active shooter. In the first instance, the police thought this news to be fake but still, they take the matter seriously way and instantly put the school in lockdown.
No Evidence Of Active Shooter Was Found
The reports stated that around 04:00 PM the school which is located in Castle Hayne situated on the northern side of New Hanover County was put down on lockdown. Other than that at around 05:00 PM, access to the educational institution was restricted and all the staff members and pupils were safely kept within the school. After that, the law enforcement check 3 times but no such evidence of any kind of firing has been found. The office of the sheriff penned on their social media post that “This comes up to be one more swatting call.”
This is not the first time that a school put down in lockdown even before that another school in the same county has been placed on lockdown. The reports state that the school located in Bladen County and New Hanover High were sufferers of swatting calls. After receiving the calls the school was instantly placed on lockdown. The police stated that someone called the police and stated that an active shooter was roaming in the school.
