Utah, Taylorsville, a shooting is said to have occurred at the Taylorsville school where the officers were informed about the shooting and soon police rushed to the place. Taylorsville High School, a shooting was reported to occur at the high school and the police were informed by the staff of the school that they heard a shooting in the school. When police arrived they saw that shots were really fired in the parking lot of the school. When police arrived they investigated, and so far police did not find any casualties occurred.

Moreover, it was mentioned by the police that the shooting resulted in fear inside the school, and there were gun casings as well found in the parking lot. This occurred this week on the 26^th of January 2023, Thursday while the shooting occurred around 12:30 pm. Taylorsville police department mentioned that the shooting was a result of an altercation that occurred in the parking area, while this was a physical fight, other than that officers found out that there were juveniles inside the building who fired shots and one of them pulled out a gun and fired shots as well.

Three Suspects In Custody

Hopefully, there was no one who got injured in this altercation. Following the investigation, it was mentioned by the police that they found three people who were involved in this shooting and they are currently under custody. Officers added that the three suspects may or not may not be involved in the case, however, they also peculate students’ involvement in this as well. Officers also mentioned that the shooting was a result of an inner conflict that resulted in a physical fight and later into a shooting.

While this was just to scare off as there were no causalities reported and no one was found to be injured. Police earlier revealed that the area, while later they investigated, a huge police patrolling was seen in front of the school and there were many officers investigating the case as well. AS there was an ongoing investigation and police found no threat to teh school, the school functioned normally and the students were left at their houses as per the original schedule and also as per buses sticking to original timings as well.

Parents were concerned as well when police officers arrived at the scene and their children were reportedly said to be in anger when teh shooting occurred. Hopefully, there is no threat now to the children. One of teh children’s parents, whose two children study at Taylorsville high school added that it scares her as a parent that a shooting occurred at the place, while it can be dangerous as well. She added that this is what she never wanted to hear and wanted to experience as well. She added that students are meant to learn here in school, and not experience shooting. This should be a place for them to stay safe while this is dangerous now.
