As per the reports his demise was all of a sudden and that is the reason why many were shocked. SFA as well released a statement in which they mentioned Gray and his demise as well. SFA athletic department released a statement in which they mentioned that the player was involved in a two-vehicle accident and passed away after suffering multiple injuries.

Graylan suffered multiple injuries while he was involved in a car crash that occurred this Friday the 20th of January 2023, around the afternoon and at US highway 59 which is just north of Corrigan. Graylan was just 19 years old at teh time of his death. It was mentioned by the police that Graylan was airlifted to the hospital through a helicopter and he was shifted to the Conroe Regional Medical Centre as per the press release. He passed away this Saturday the 21st of January 2023.
How Did Graylan Paul Spring Die?
The University released a statement in which they mentioned that the whole community is saddened by the tragic loss of their beloved player and they added that Grayland and Micha’s both suffered multiple injuries. Speaking about the other student who passed away, Micah McAfoose as well was travelling southbound on Friday in a 2007 Nissan Versa when he suffered a crash and was transferred to teh HCA Houston health care Conroe where he succumbed to his injuries.

While he was listed in critical condition when he was admitted to the hospital. Micah was involved in the crash when an 18-wheeler tuned its way and his car was struck in the trailer. It was mentioned by the University that there will be a candlelight vigil held that will take place at the Homer Bryce Stadium in Nacogdoches which will be held on this Monday the 23rd of January 2023 at 7:30 pm. The University later also mentioned the demise of Micah and they added that Graylan and Micah were special people who meant so much to the SFA and the football and baseball programs as well.
They added that they ask the whole university and everyone reading to keep the families of the deceased in their prayers as they are going through a difficult time. The University also sent its condolences. Graylan Paul Spring was a second-year student who was from Stephen F Austin University.
He was a kind person who lived his life in a deified way and with a pure heart as well. Many people poured in their heartfelt condolences and also mentioned his family in their prayers. One of the students said Graylan was someone who was always loving and cherishing and it is heartbreaking that he passed away. Another student mentioned that Graylan was a champion both off the field and on the field as well and who will be missed dearly.
