The officials of Cleveland EMS state that the age of the firefighter was 50 years old and he was a veteran of the fire fighting department. The officials stated that the victim was instantly admitted to the hospital named University Hospital. According to the police, the man was admitted into critical condition. The Cleveland Police Fifth District officials asserted that the firefighter was handed away from his wounds.

Sgt. Jennifer Ciaccia working in Cleveland Police Fifth District asserted the firefighter handed away his wounds. Doctors were unable to save his life and he sadly passed away. Sgt. Jennifer announced the incident was a hit-and-run case. He further added that the white colour Chevrolet Malibu that was responsible for the demise of the firefighter has yet to be discovered. The police officers state that the suspect vehicle has a front-end harmed.
