He was born on 7th September 1970 and he played 12 Seasons in the National Hockey League from the year 1992 to 2002 for teams like New York, Philadelphia and Montreal. He enjoyed playing the game and he earned the nickname of “Algonquin Assassin”. Standing at a height of 6 feet and 3 inches and having a weight of 98 kilograms he was a menace for the opponents. Gino started his playing career in 1990 and he was chosen by Vancouver in the 86th overall draft.

His father was a fishing man who was later killed in 1944 during the Second World War and her mother was a French citizen. He became a victim of several atrocities and challenges when he was 9 and he was sent to a residential school in Spain. He was the 4th child and he was living in a poster home of around 35 children, to describe his mind he pick up an interest in hockey and when he was just 11 years old he joined an organised team and the coach quickly spotted his talent for the sport.

He was really violent and had fighting skills that prevented teams from scoring goals.

In 2014 he was diagnosed with this terminal disease and the same year he was spotted in a Canadian short film. He lived are really satisfactory life and he was highly respected by all the subordinates and fans of his franchise. He was never gaming up and constantly improving himself to be on the top.
