The reason the news of the cancellation of the tour comes after Zack De La Rocha the vocalist of the band got an injury to his leg. The main vocalist hurt his leg at the time of the July concert which was organised in Chicago. As per the reports, Zack De La Rocha performed while starting in spite of having injuries in his leg. After completing his performance he was taken off the stage with the help of the crew members. The singer is not stated to be on complete bed rest and the doctor has advised him to take a break and asks him to not travel, as stated by the band.

Now with the vocalist how can a band perform? Though despite of it, the rock band finish the 3 performances of Madison Square Garden that are planned for the 11th, 12th and 14th of August. As per medical advice, the vocalist has been informed that the European and United Kingdom leg of the rock band tour can not perform in the month of August and the next month September 2022. This cancellation is declared with a lot of disappointment and sadness. The announcement of the cancellation is stated by the band who released the statement regarding this.
Which reads that “The run of Rage Against The Machine run at Madison Square Garden will finish on Thursday, 11th August, Friday, 12th August and last on Sunday, 14th August 2022. After this performance, the vocalist will require to go back to his home in order to take a rest as advised by doctors. It is quite tough for him to travel a lot and a danger due to the flights, and demanding plans in Europe and the United Kingdom. The rock band asks their fans to forgive them and apologise to the ticket holders and ensure them that they will refund their money.
