Who Is Mufid Fawaz Alkhader?

Mufid Fawaz Alkhader is arrested for spreading hate crime at the Temple Israel Synagogue in Albany, New York. He was seen shooting and raising his voice for “free Palestinian” and it made him arrested by the local police authorities. He also shot two rounds which was a display of hate crime and his words were raising antisemitism and hatred. He was later arrested by the Albany police department and police are now treating his action as a hate crime.

He visited the Temple Israel Synagogue on Thursday and attempted two rounds of shooting at the temple. His actions were very offensive and it made him immediately arrested. It was raising concern about antisemitism and it was initiated to target the Jewish New Yorkers. The Albany Mayor had also stated the whole incident as the trial of spreading antisemitism across the country.

On Thursday afternoon of 7th December 2023, a man 28 years old arrived near the Israel Synagogue temple and started firing two rounds by yelling Free Palestinian in a huge voice.

It created a huge fear for the localities as the haters were increasing and people were very frightened of any casualties. The Albany police immediately reached the location and arrested him. Reportedly, there were no consequences and all the people, 75 children and the other families were safely returned to their homes. 

According to the Albany police, the man made threatening comments and they are treating it as a hate-spreading act and spreading antisemitism. The government clearly stated that this kind of action would not be tolerated and strict action would be taken against him.
