The dead bodies of the 29-year-old Janette “JJ” Pantoja and 36-years-old Juan Almanza Zavala were found close to their automobile that smashed down a dam located in Nevada County on Wednesday, 17th August 2022, as per the office of Nevada County Sheriff. Almanza was falteringly recognized because of the nature of his wounds as stated by the office of the sheriff. As per the reports, the ex duo parted their ways many years back but still remained pals, was last heard from the way of coming back to their house from the car show “Hot August Nights” which was held in Reno but the never came back.

The family of Pantoja informed the police about their missing and briefly after her missing on Saturday, 6th August 2022 her cell phone last showed the location of the area where the dead bodies and the car were discovered after 11 days of their missing. As per the report, Pantoja messaged her present beau that she would be coming home within half n hour around 11:00 PM on Saturday, 6th August 2022. Briefly after that, her cell phone prevented her to share her location. Alejandra Pantoja the sister of Janette stated that “My sister never communicated anything then and she was not like that.”
Surprisingly on the same day, the 16-years-old Rodni went disappeared from a campsite which is located in Truckee California at the time of the part with many people. She was last watched after midnight on Saturday, 6th August 2022 about 23 hours before Zavala and Pantoja were last in contact. An original search of the place where the mobile phones of the former couple were last seen failed to give any proof. Their dead bodies were found when a person called on 911 and informed the police that a vehicle down a dam close to Poker Flats Road and Highway 20 which is located in Penn Valley. As per the report, the accident was not clearly and easily seen from the road.
