Johnny Logan has recently shared an Instagram post about his younger brother’s death. He looked very emotional in his post and shared the very sad news. His message has made the viewers emotional after knowing his condition and his family’s situation.
Johnny shared a very emotional note about the death of his elder brother Michael Sherrard. Michael was 71 years old and passed away recently. He was taken care of by his three children and grandchildren.
Johnny mentioned that Michael was ill and was on rest. He went to meet him just a day before his death. He passed away exactly 6 years after their younger brother passed away in 2017. He is facing the toughest time of his life after losing his beloved brother.
Johnny Logan’s Emotional Post
Johnny has announced the death news of his elder brother Michael Sherrard with an emotional note. Michael has been working as Johnny’s guitarist and musical director since the 1980s.
He posted a tribute note on Wednesday night saying “It’s with a broken heart that I have to announce the passing of my brother Michael Sherrard. He passed away in the company of his three beautiful children. I was with him the day before. He is survived by his children Chloe, Ellie and Nathaniel, his grandson Henry, our sister Fiona, our cousin Miggie, myself and our extended family”.
“Most of you have known Michael over the years and you will know how much we loved each other. There’s a hole in our hearts now that will never heal. I wish I could say more but right now words fail me. He passed away six years to the day since we lost our younger brother Eamonn. I’ll see you again my lovely brothers, Michael and Eamonn, with our parents but not yet.”
He became more sad after remembering the death of his younger brother Eamonn who died just 6 years ago in 2017 on the same day. It is also a very tough moment for his children. However, Johnny did not mention the cause of his death. It is considered a natural death and age factor as he was 71 years old and was ill for a long time.
