The killings happened at a convenience store and two homes, county sheriff Brad Lance told local media. In front of the store, which was cordoned off by law enforcement with yellow tape, were trucks identified as belonging to the sheriff’s office and Tate County search and rescue. According to Katherine King, a manager at the Sheriff’s Department, Richard Dale Crum, 52, was arrested and charged with one count of capital murder.
