Malmedy Olivier Roche was a 65-year-old pilot from France who passed away after being missing while he was on a mission driving a paraglider. As per the reports, in his last mission, he was flying a bright lemon yellow Advance Epsilon 9 paraglider with a black leading edge his last known location was at around 4.10 pm near the Col des Ugousses at 2900m which was about 10 km ESE from where he took off. 

Before his disappearance, his last location was that. He was wearing a lightweight Solar Powered vario with him but it was not connected with the satellite tracking and that’s why he could not record. His last rights were performed on 7th September 2023 at Saint Sauveur Cathedral in Aix en Provence. He was a perfect family person having a wife Catherine and three children.
