Henry Sandon was a 95-year-old man who is very popularly known as an expert in antique pottery. He was an English antique expert, television personality, author, and lecturer. Sandon was born on 4 August 1928 in London, England. He completed his schooling at the Royal Grammar School, High Wycombe. 

After that, he started his career as a singer and music teacher at the Royal Grammar School Worcester and a lay clerk in the Worcester Cathedral Choir. After some time he moved to archaeology and found his interest in pottery and porcelain in all periods and countries. He was later appointed as a curator of the Dyson Perrins Museum at the Royal Worcester factory in 1966 and continued with that till 1982. 

After that, he moved to television and was seen in his most amazing and popular BBC show Antiques Roadshow. He then started writing and giving lectures on workers and other porcelains which made him a huge name in front of all the audiences.
