Yet to be solved, the mysterious case of investigation of a tiny young girl, Harmony Montgomery, from New Hampshire, Manchester. She got disappeared all of sudden and has not been found yet. Her case was going through several investigations and interrogations although no result came out. Later it was found that she was murdered in the month of December, in the year 2019. She was just a 5 years old girl who was last seen by her mother in their residence in 2019. Furthermore, she had experienced many circumstances at this small age, like child abuse and was even staying in social service care centres. She’s missing for 2 years and her case was allowed to special team by September, of 2021. During some press conferences, attorney general of New Hampshire had stated that this case is no more about her disappearance or kidnapping but is now turned into finding the murderer of that little girl. It is believed that cops had found some new leads and clues but they deny revealing them to media reporters. Bones or any remains of the girl are yet to be found, but they have acquired some biological clues that made them believe that the girl is no more. Her mother holds a history of abuse and lost Harmony’s custody in 2018. Then she was staying with her father, Adam, and soon the Department of Children raided his house as they got lead of abuse from there. She had last FaceTime with her mother during the festival of Easter, in 2019.

Adam had once slapped Harmony as she tried to console her younger brother, as he was crying while bathing. Her eyes turned black due to that direct blow on her face. And she even had some red marks, in the follow-up visit of the child department worker. All of this was confirmed by one of their relatives of Adam. Although on asking about this to Harmony, she never told anything negative about her father and told the workers that it was a wounded she got while playing with her brother or while running around. Adam was never charged with child abuse since Harmony never tried and told anyone about it.
Later, in January 2020 when the child department tried reaching adam for checking on Harmony, he said that she was residing with Sorey, her mother. And mother contacted the police in September by the year 2020 that she haven’t seen or heard a single word from her daughter by January. Adam was charged with child abuse and assault. Although in her disappearance his role is yet to be proved. The murderer is not found nor any strong clue. Let’s wait for what comes next to be seen in this case.
