John was the star of the University of Kansas and he played sixteen seasons of the American football league and the NFL as well. The school announced his demise and then paid tribute to the deceased star. John was born in Lawrence, Kansas and he played for the all-state football halfback. This is a football center which is for high school. Later he stayed in his hometown and played for the jay Hawks and set many records. John also led the NCAA in 45.6 yards and set records for the Jayhawks records for the longest-running punt. He also led the longest interception returns as well.
