As per the report, On Wednesday, 30th November 2022, an intricate hoax of an active gunman was reported at Valdosta High School which left the community of Valdosta shaken up and threatened.
Reports Of Shooter At Valdosta High School Is Hoax
The reports state that this wrong hoax was reported in the early hours of Wednesday morning, 30th November 2022. But the police takes the matter seriously and investigated it, later on, they got to know that the news are wrong and someone shares the wrong information. Ashley Paulk the sheriff of Lowndes County stated that the hoax or the fake news was “well coordinated”. Not only the police but the administration of Valdosta City School stated in a social media post that this educational institution “was one of the many statewide educational institutions that put into lockdown after the menace of an active gunman inside the high school.”
As per the police of Valdosta, they received a 911 emergency call that there was an active gunman roaming or present inside the educational institution and that many pupils were shot and got wounded. After hearing this police did not waste much time and reached the school and instantly put many schools in a state of lockdown. Valdosta City Schools stated in a social media post that “Local first responders and school personnel instantly jumped or came into an action to clean the whole campus. However, no such active gunmen nor wounded people were discovered at the time of the sweep.”
