As per the reports, a fast-track court in Haryana passed out the conviction that the self-styled godman who is also known as Jalebi Bab originally recognized as Amarpuri is now sentenced to 14 years in jail for raping and threatening women by making inappropriate videos.
This occurred in a Fast track court of Haryana Fatehabad where the godman was sentenced to 14 years in jail. As per the reports, this accused was arrested in 2018 and the godman was arrested and jailed for over four years. This man used to rape women, make inappropriate videos of them and then blackmail them in exchange for money. Balwant Singh who is the district Judge mentioned that Jalebi baba who is aged 63 years is now sentenced to 14 years in jail.

And he is sentenced under section 6 for protection of children from sexual offences, act for raping two minors, a sentence of 7 years in jail each for raping in two rapes, under teh section 376-C, and he was also sentenced to 5 years under section 67-A of the IT act. He was also acquitted in an arms act case as well. Running concurrently with all of these cases, then the godman will spend about fourteen years behind the bars. After the women used to go unconscious, he used to rape them and make inappropriate videos of the women who were unconscious, and then blackmail them.
Haryana’s Jalebi Baba Jailed For 14 Years
He allegedly raped 100 women including girls, while he used to ask the women for money in exchange for the video. He threatened the women saying that he would release the video online. He was charged with rape cases on the 5th of January 2023. Out of the 100 women who were victims of this man, six women came ahead and gave their statement after which the court passed on the judgment.
As per the reports, the suspect was arrested on the 19th of July 2018 after police found over a hundred videos inappropriately filmed by Godman on his mobile. It was mentioned that an informer reported this case at the Tohana police station. The accused was booked under the following sections, 292, 293, 376, 384, and 509, of the Indian Penal code and also sections 67-A of the IT act as well. Bimla Devi, former in charge of Fatehabad confirmed that the accused had over 120 $ex videos on his mobile phone.
